CFE-BAA-C. Chauncy MALTBY, b. Apr. 2, 1820 (Milo 6, Jos.5, Jos.4, Jos.3, Dan.2, Wm.1). m. Oct. 16, 1842, Sally A. CRAMER. He d. Oct. 2, 1865. (Note. He was the eldest son of the oldest son to have male issue. In other words he was "head of the house of Maltby" in the American branch. His son Charles Eli, inherited the same dignity).

Children:
CFE-BAA-CA.  Warren H. Maltby, b. July 25, 1843; enlisted in Civil War
              in 1862. Killed at the defense of Washington, D.C.,
              Feb. 14, 1864, unmarried.
CFE-BAA-Cb.  Mary L. Maltby, b. Aug. 1, 1856.
CFE-BAA-CC.  Charles Eli "   b. Jan. 25, 1859; of 37 Hathaway Place,
                               Glen Ridge, N.J.
