CBA-d. Abigail MALTBY ("Malbee") b. 1731 (John 3, John 2, Wm.1). m. May 27, 1765, John CORNWELL, at New Haven, Conn. (Ref. N.H. Mar. Reg.). On this record the name is "Maultbee." He was b. in Branford, Conn. Aug. 1738, and Abigail was of Killingworth. They resided in New Haven where she died, Feb. 20, 1803, aged 72 1/2.

(New Haven Gen. Mag. Vol. II, No. 4, p. 461) 
"Paul Cornwall resided in Middletown and New Haven, son of John and Martha (Peck) Cornwall. He was b. 6 June, 1675 at Middle- town (Vital); died before 1751, at New Haven. Mar. Susanna, dau. of Benjamin Bowden, who d. in 1751.

"Paul Cornwall, son of above, born 25 Nov. 1715, New Haven, bp. 15 July 1716, New Haven Congregational Church; died circa 1751. Resided Branford. He mar. 7 Feb. 1737, Mary Stroud.

"Rev. John Cornwall, son of above. Resided at Cornwall. m. (1) 29 June, 1762 (N.H. Vital) Lydia, dau. of Jonathan and Lydia (Bradley) Austin, b. 17 Sept. 1740/1 (East Haven Vital); d. 14 Feb. 1763 (N.H. Vital); m. (2) 27 May 1765 (N.H. Cong. Church) Abigail Maltbie."
